Leah and Bill’s wedding was exactly that.
Their beautiful, intimate wedding day began in East Aurora, New York, at Leah’s father’s gorgeous home and property. If you have ever dreamed about having a backyard wedding but still want it to feel elegant, personal, and completely unique, this was the perfect example of how incredible that can be.
There is just something different about getting married somewhere that already holds meaning to your family. Leah’s father’s property created such a beautiful and personal backdrop for their wedding day. Every part of the day felt relaxed, meaningful, and centered around Leah and Bill and the people who love them most.
After spending time celebrating in East Aurora, we headed over to Crag Burn Golf Club for the next part of their wedding day.
Crag Burn is such a beautiful setting for a wedding, and it was the perfect place for Leah and Bill and their guests to continue celebrating. Between the gorgeous surroundings, the excitement of the day, and all of the moments shared with family and friends, there was no shortage of memories to capture.
As a Buffalo and Western New York wedding photographer, I absolutely love photographing weddings like this. While big, elaborate weddings can be amazing, there is something incredibly special about a smaller, more intimate celebration. You get to slow down. You get to spend more time with the people closest to you. And as photographers we get to capture all of those in-between moments that can sometimes get lost in the rush of a larger wedding day.
The laughter. The hugs. The quiet moments between the bride and groom. The proud family members watching it all happen. Those are the moments that mean so much!
