Man this one really hit me in the feels. If you know me, you know that I get emotional easily and I most definelty shed a tear or two when Adam proposed to Jen this day.
So a little back story. Adam had called me about a month or so ago and over our consultation I really felt like this was going to be a FUN session. He had told me that him and Jen had been together for 5 years and living in separate cities, one in DC, one in Philly. They had discussed getting married but not when or where it was going to happen.
Enter me.
The day arrived and Adam and I coordinated me following the couple from out of their hotel through Goat Island and to a specific spot on the island to take the photos of the proposal. While walking, Adam got a little lost, had to back peddle and there I was standing awkwardly, pretending to look at my phone and find my way haha.
I continued to follow them to the spot we had pre-planned and then it happened. All of the emotions ran through the two of them and it was beautiful.
I asked Jen if she had any idea and she said she had thought that it may be today and had a suspicion when she saw me earlier but thought there are so many people here. That could be anyone.
SUCESS! We pulled it off, she was surprised and it was beautiful!
We then spent the next hour hanging out and taking photographs all over the island and then by the falls.
