Oh man. Where do I start with Sara & Yves??!!
First off, Sara and I went to high school together along with our siblings who were also in high school together! Although we didn’t hang out a ton it’s still great to know that it’s such a small world that I get to work with the people I shared some of my first memories with in Buffalo when I moved here!
I shot Sara’s brothers wedding a few years ago and now I have had the pleasure of doing another wonderful wedding!
Although I have never met Yves before literally the wedding day (as they currently live in florida working for Disney) it felt like we hit it off pretty easily just like old pals!
I spent the early afternoon casually hanging out with Sara and Yves as they got ready in their hotel rooms across the hall from one another and then we headed down to the Falls for a first look and photos. I could immediately tell how sweet these two were on each other and that makes my heart truly happy!
After our photos at the falls we headed to The Falconwood at Beaver Island for their sweet, intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family. It was a total blast! They had lawn games all over the patio, bubbles forever, Paula’s donuts and at the end of the night they even had a poutine bar which is soooo buffalo haha!
Before the night was over we strolled the beach for a few minutes and just soaked in the day. I had such a great time with these two and wish them all the best in their new found marriage and in life!
